I don't think I've ever drawn an artwork so blatantly violent... I wanted to draw some kind of an alien version of the Bonnie & Clyde myth (I just recently discovered that those two crazy fuckers really existed...) I think I had the idea because of a storyline from this current season of Dexter... Anyway, it had been a while since my last artwork for the "Collection" so it was about time !
I'm also very into Brian K. Vaughan's last hit Saga (Fiona Staple's art is crazy), so the inspiration to draw an alien couple probably also came from there.
Je ne pense pas avoir déjà fait une illustration aussi violente... Je voulais dessiner un espèce de couple à la Bonnie & Clyde version extra-terrestres... Je continue d'expérimenter avec l'encrage et les couleurs en tous cas, et les résultats me plaisent pour le moment. En tous cas, il était temps, c'est la première illu de la Collection depuis celle du requin !
Je fais une obsession sur Ride de Lana Del Rey en ce moment (je l'ai mis dans le post précédent). Je n'écoute que ça en boucle... Ça commence à faire peur (et faire chier mes colocs).
